The AXYS Data Management System (DMS) Plug-ins were developed to enable clients to customize their software package based on the specific sensors in their environmental monitoring system and the type of information they would like to view from the data being gathered.
The basic DMS Suite comes with the SmartWeb™ and SmartView™ data presentation applications, as well as the ability to view basic met data. For additional data viewing, the following plug-ins are currently available:
Automatic Identification System (AIS)
- This plug-in allows users to receive AIS data from a variety of transmitting AIS devices and to show that data in a specialized AIS display.
Short Message Service (SMS) Auto-responder
- Allows clients to send SMS (text) messages from a mobile phone to the DMS via a modem installed at the DMS host computer. This enables users to get short, quick snapshots of environmental data on a handheld device.
TRIAXYS™ Waves
- Allows clients to use the DMS in order to manage, view and graph all their wave data from a single buoy or a network of buoys.
ADCP
- 3D current profile data management and visualization.
WindSentinel™
- 3D wind profile data management and visualization.
