Inmarsat D

Inmarsat D+ Inmarsat D+ data service uses the commercial Inmarsat geosynchronous satellites and infrastructure to enable short data messages to be sent and received from small, low powered terminals.

An equatorial distribution of satellites provide near global coverage. The system transmits data in 8 byte messages, with the ability to stack data packets for larger messages if required. Inmarsat D+ is a very cost effective telemetry medium for low bandwidth messaging and platform position monitoring. The data is posted on a secure website in near real time and/or e-mailed to the user.

Inmarsat D+ can be used in conjunction with AXYS Technologies Inc. (AXYS) equipment or in other applications. Many options are available; contact us for custom solutions for your data.
