The Next Wave TRIAXYS™ Sensor

The Next Revolution in Wave MeasurementTRIAXYS Sensors

The TRIAXYS™ Directional Wave Sensor was originally developed by AXYS in conjunction with the Canadian Hydraulics Centre of the National Research Council of Canada in 1998. AXYS engineers have recently upgraded the TRIAXYS™ Sensor with several new features that make it easier to collect accurate and high quality wave data.

Continuous Wave Sampling
The TRIAXYS™ Wave Sensor can now continue to sample waves during the processing and transmission cycles, eliminating any sampling downtime. This feature is beneficial for mission critical applications that require constant sampling and data without time gaps.
>5 Years Data Logging Capacity:
The TRIAXYS™ Wave Sensor now includes a standard 8GB compact flash card that allows more than five years of data storage inside the sensor. This flash card is expandable to 32GB if required and eliminates the risk of historical data being overwritten by compact flash cards becoming full.
Supports any Sensor:
With the addition of the WatchMan500™ controller, the TRIAXYS™ Wave Sensor can support and control any other sensor type, including current profilers, wind sensors, air temperature sensors, CTD's, etc.
Supports any Telemetry:
The TRIAXYS™ Wave Sensor now interfaces to virtually any telemetry device. This will allow users to transmit data in virtually any geographic location where telemetry coverage exists.
Ability to Network:
Through the use of the WatchMan500™ controller and the Data Management Software (DMS), TRIAXYS™ Next Wave Sensor users can network their sensors together, allowing remote changes to be made across an entire array or down to an individual sensor. This increased flexibility to command and control saves users time and money.
50 Hertz Motion Sampling:
The TRIAXYS™ Wave Sensor can also be configured as a motion or heave sensor. With the Next Wave functionality built in, the motion/heave sensor can be programmed to sample at up to 50 Hertz.

The Next Wave of the TRIAXYS™ Sensor can be integrated onto any buoy platform of your choice.
