Roadway Weather
The ability to receive current and expected roadway weather conditions provides a higher degree of road safety for motorists. The ability to forecast weather accurately provides road maintenance and safety crews with information that can prepare for and prevent weather delays and accidents. Consequently, accurate roadway weather improves safety and reduces costs. Typical data measured on this system could include air temperature and dew point, relative humidity, frost conditions, rainfall, barometric pressure, and roadway visibility.
Agricultural Weather
The AXYS monitoring system can be used in agricultural applications to measure many standard parameters required by farmers, agricultural engineers, professional agronomists, and environmental regulatory departments. The system can provide real-time environmental data useful for farm operations, crop management, harvest planning, processing, and product handling and shipment.
Measured data may include air temperature, dew point and soil temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, atmospheric pressure, and soil moisture content.
