TRIAXYS buoy with Inmarsat D+ Telemetry
InmarsatD+ telemetry is a proven and effective method to obtain wave data.
AXYS Technologies Inc., a leading environmental systems manufacturer, announces the successful integration of InmarsatD+ telemetry into the TRIAXYS Directional Wave Buoy as an inexpensive and effective technique for the transmission of wave data.

Wave data available via InmarsatD+ includes: Maximum Wave Height (Hmax), Significant Wave Height (Hmo), Average Wave Height (Hav), Peak Period (Tp), Significant Wave Period (T1/3), Average Period (Tav), Mean Wave Direction (MeanDir) and Spreading Width (Spread). Buoy position and WatchCircle alarms are also available.
Currently, real-time buoy position via InmarsatD+ is available at the click of a mouse from our secure website. Our product development team is developing new features using InmarsatD+'s 2-way capacity. The ability to remotely re-configure and troubleshoot using InmarsatD+ will soon be available for the TRIAXYS Buoy.
