AXYS Technologies Inc. announces the appointment of an Agent in JapanNippon Kaiyo Co. Ltd.

AXYS Technologies Inc. (AXYS) is proud to confirm the appointment of Nippon Kaiyo Co. Ltd. as their Agent in Japan. Headquartered in Tokyo, Nippon Kaiyo is a supplier of oceanographic and hydrographic equipment & services.

According to Nippon Kaiyo, AXYS was selected as a supplier based on its experience in providing reliable and robust oceanographic and meteorological data buoys. “AXYS Technologies Inc. is an industry leader in the provision of oceanographic data solutions” said Nippon Kaiyo Sales Section Manager, Mr. Noriaki Uekubo “and our organisation looks forward to promoting AXYS products and services throughout Japan.” 

Commenting on the new Agreement, AXYS President & CEO Harry Weiler said: “AXYS sees tremendous opportunities in Japan, particulary in the directional wave buoy market.  “We are proud to be represented by Nippon Kaiyo, who have been involved in the Japanese oceanographic industry for almost fifty years.”

Corporate introductions were facilitated by the Vancouver, BC office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) an Incorporated Administrative Agency funded by the Japanese Government.
