Weather Sentinel™
Developed to meet Environment Canada's strict standards, AXYS Technologies Inc's (AXYS) Weather Sentinel™ is a fully automated, self-contained, low power monitoring system that is ideally suited for remote locations isolated from commercial power or communication networks. Using the  AXYS
meteorological payload in these applications provides the
user with current weather information and forecasting information
for improved decision making.
Typical sensor configurations provide wind speed, wind direction, relative humidity, air temperature, barometric pressure, dew point, rainfall, solar radiation, and position. Flexible sensor configurations allow Weather Sentinel™ to be customized to meet any monitoring requirement.
The AXYS systems are well proven in
harsh environments
and have been in use for over a decade, while meeting the highest
standard of excellence in dependability, accuracy, and weather data
quality. These
systems can all use a variety of telemetry
options.
