WX View™

WX View™ for the Aviation Sentinel (PDF, 1.39 Mb) is a real-time display for aviation data applications.

Data from four sensors (wind speed and direction, air temperature, and atmospheric pressure) are averaged over 10 minutes and are displayed on the main screen. Real-time (1 Hz) wind speed and direction data is displayed on large analogue dials for quick reference of the real-time wind field. Hourly METAR reports are compiled and displayed at the bottom of the screen. WX View™ is a simple, robust display that aids the aviator in his decision-making process by providing a snapshot of the current weather conditions.
